## Cutaway assessment

The Blender 2.92 file contains distinct Hood, Hood Grill, Front/Side, Front Doors, Back Doors, Roof, Trunk, glass, wheel and brake objects. This separation is promising for selective transparency and cutaway rendering.

No explicitly named engine, intercooler, turbo or transmission object was found. Generic Cylinder objects remain unidentified, so engine-bay contents are not confirmed from names alone. Use the existing procedural engine as illustrative geometry only after checking scale and placement.

Converted with official Blender 4.5.8 in background mode with embedded scripts disabled. Parent transforms are preserved, subdivision reduced, and Draco compression enabled. The browser GLB is approximately 6.3 MB. Original source is unchanged. Landing displays the whole vehicle with automatic animation, reduced motion, theme-aware lighting, and creator attribution linked from the vision page. The engine cutaway uses the existing procedural FA20DIT assembly, fitted below the hood at the source metre/millimetre scale. It is an illustrative placement within an STI exterior, not a verified STI powertrain or fitment model.

The landing adaptation uses muted materials and a moving scan to reveal contour lines on the outer body panels, while wheels and interior details remain solid. Engine, wheel and brake markers are attached to their component bounds. Mapping settles after ten seconds; reduced motion shows the completed mapping without animation. Source meshes remain unmodified.

The hood and scoop grille fade during the scan, revealing the added engine with timing cover facing forward. Show body / Show engine toggles the reveal while preserving pause state. Reduced motion shows the completed cutaway statically. Original vehicle and engine source models are preserved.

## Cinematic adaptation

The Subaru cinematic preview also adapts this model. OpenMotive rendered the supplied vehicle and its own illustrative FA20DIT together in Blender, with changed materials, an exposed engine bay, studio lighting, and chartreuse surface contours. That rendered frame was used to guide a Google Vertex AI Veo 3.1 video. The generated film was edited into a loop and cropped for desktop and mobile. Generated details may differ from the source geometry; this film is illustrative and is not verified engineering geometry. Source and creator attribution above apply to this adaptation.

The current cinematic preview is rendered directly in Blender, with transparent near-side body panels, green surface contours, and structural edges derived from the supplied mesh.
